This past winter, I was fortunate to photograph a special portrait session at Bolt Farm Treehouse. Niyati and Jeremy traveled down to Charleston to stay at the unique Bolt Farm Treehouse. And what an exceptional alternative to traditional getaways. Bolt Farm Treehouse boasts of handcrafted adult treehouses. Each customized with a different theme and design. Their Charleston location has four treehouses on 30 acres of land with waterside views. They even offer VIP experiences for guests that include access to a fire pit, oven-fired pizza, and campfire s’mores. It’s no wonder that Bolt Farm Treehouse is an award winning getaway that has been featured on Airbnb, Southern Charm, and US Weekly!
Needless to say this stunning locale also makes for a lovely backdrop for portraits. Niyati envisioned a hi-fashion, elegant portrait session. Her couture style 2-piece ensemble is simply regal. The off-the-shoulder lace top is gorgeous and complimented perfectly with a satin skirt. Choosing a down hairstyle offers a more dramatic style that I love for photos. Jeremy’s styling of a Charleston casual suite paired well with Niyati’s outfit. For their session, we simply strolled the grounds and stopped at any location with great light or a beautiful backdrop (like that majestic oak tree!). This was one of my last portrait sessions for 2018 and it was one of my favorites of all time. Looking forward to more portrait shoots out at Bolt Farm Treehouse in the future!
