A Boone Hall Plantation wedding is always an incredible experience. From the waterfront views to the avenue of oaks and the idyllic Cotton Dock, the plantation lends itself to all themes for an unforgettable day. Priscilla was on hand for a stunning wedding with Jennifer and Sean. We’re excited to share her experiences with you! The bride-to-be and her entourage were at Charleston Harbor Resort putting the finishing touches on her lovely look. A lace bodice gave way to a pale peach chiffon skirt. An elegant flower crown completed a simply gorgeous ensemble. On the docks below, Sean and his guys were spending time in the sun looking quite handsome in their dark grey-blue three piece suits. The couple shared a first look that has us swooning over such sweet moments between the two lovebirds.
The wide branches of Boone Hall’s live oaks stretched over the guests gathered on the side lawn of the avenue of oaks. The trees and Spanish moss were the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. The handsome ring bearer was a showstopper in his suspenders and cap. Jennifer was to die for as her bridal ensemble fit the idyllic atmosphere. She looked like a true southern belle. Sean and she exchanged their vows and a tear or two before tying the knot. Before they were lost to the throngs of family and friends, Priscilla pulled them aside for newlywed portraits. They beamed holding onto one another with so much natural beauty all around them. We love every photo with the two of them staring at each other; the love is palpable.
The Cotton Dock held the reception and the couple chose to let the venue speak for itself. The aged, exposed wood created a warm and welcoming space for the celebration. Guests sipped delicious cocktails from personalized Mason jar glasses and the glint of gold specked with red could be found all around the decor. String lights cast a warm glow over the proceedings as night fell and a cool breeze rolled in from Horlbeck Creek. The guests dancing alongside the newlyweds and the party lasted long after sunset. Before long, it was time for the duo to find some trouble to get into and they stole off into the night with Jennifer kicking up her cowboy boots.
We had so much fun getting to know you and your families. Thank you for bringing the PTP team along for such an amazing day. We wish you nothing but good health and happiness in the years to come. Congratulations again!
